Antique Continental calculating machine / adding machine - Wanderer-Werke Chemnitz - circa 1930s - vintage office decor.
This company also produced the famous Continental typewriters.
For sale is a beautiful antique mechanical calculating machine (adding machine) from the well-known Continental brand, manufactured by the traditional Wanderer-Werke in Chemnitz, Germany (circa the 1930s).
It is a classic desk-model with a full keyboard (full keyboard) and integrated printing unit, including an original paper roll. The case features a charming industrial look and bears the original, well-preserved logos and lettering.
Appearance: good, age-appropriate vintage condition with a gorgeous patina (see photos). Perfect as decor for offices, lofts, or collectors of historic office equipment.
Technical: Since I am not familiar with the exact operation, I could not test the machine for full functionality. However, the mechanical parts and keys can be moved, and the crank can be operated.
