Christofle is a French silversmithing and tableware company, founded in Paris in 1830 by Charles Christofle.

The company is known for having introduced electroplating and silver plating in France in 1842. The company was acquired in 2012 by one of its shareholders, the Chalhoub family luxury group.

Maison Christofle relies on entirely handmade production following traditional techniques. The precious crafts of spinning-forming, planishing, chasing, and engraving, upheld by its Master Silversmiths and Meilleurs Ouvriers de France, immortalize the elegance and excellence of all Christofle pieces. This is that irreplaceable human know-how perpetuated by highly skilled artisans.
