Christofle is a French silversmithing and tableware company, founded in Paris in 1830 by Charles Christofle.

The company is known for having introduced electroplating for gold and silver in France in 1842. The company was acquired in 2012 by one of its shareholders, the Chalhoub family luxury group.

The House of Christofle uses entirely hand-made manufacturing following traditional techniques. The precious crafts of turning and repoussé, planishing, chasing, and engraving, perpetuated by its Master Silversmiths and Meilleurs Ouvriers de France, immortalize the qualities of elegance and excellence of all Christofle pieces. This irreplaceable human know-how is upheld by highly skilled artisans.
