Christofle is a French silversmith and tableware company, founded in Paris in 1830 by Charles Christofle.

The company is known for having introduced electroplating (gold and silver) in France in 1842. The company was acquired in 2012 by one of its shareholders, the Chalhoub family luxury group.

Maison Christofle relies on entirely handmade production following traditional techniques. The precious crafts of turning-repousse, planishing, chasing, and engraving, continued by its Master Silversmiths and Meilleurs Ouvriers de France, immortalize the qualities of elegance and excellence of all Christofle pieces. This irreplaceable human know-how is preserved by highly skilled artisans.
