Nic. Jonk (1928-1994) Sirene: Rooster with woman.
Nic. Jonk was a visual artist but also a painter and a lecturer at the Royal Academy of Art and Design. In many places his large spatial works as well as small sculptures can be found, e.g. in Amsterdam, Eindhoven, but also in Italy (Gimignano), Germany and America (Monterey Bay, California).
Jonk almost always worked in bronze. The beautiful object is signed and dated on the bottom. It is in wonderful condition.

Nic. Jonk was beeldend kunstenaar maar ook schilder en docent naar de Koninklijke academie voor kunst en vormgeving. Op veel plaatsen staan zijn zowel grote ruimtelijke objecten als kleine sculpturen, o.a. in Amsterdam , Eindhoven, maar ook in Italië ( Gimignano), Duitsland en Amerika (Monterey Bay , Californië)
Jonk werkte bijna altijd in brons . Het prachtige objectie is aan de onderzijde gesigneerd en gedateerd. Het is in prachtige staat.
