Yellow copper neo-Gothic altar candlestick from the period 1870-1900. The candlestick is completely dismantlable into loose parts. These are stacked around an iron pin that fixes the whole together. The base is weighted with a cast-iron filling. The candlestick originates from a Catholic church and was used on the altar. A beautiful example of Dutch Neo-Gothic from the period of Catholic revival in the second half of the 19th century.

Geel koperen neogotische altaarkandelaar uit de periode 1870-1900. De kandelaar is geheel demonteerbaar in losse onderdelen. Deze zijn gestapeld om een ijzeren pen die het geheel vastzet. De voet is verzwaard met een gietijzeren vulling. De kandelaar is afkomstig uit een katholieke kerk en werd gebruikt op het altaar. Prachtig voorbeeld van de Nederlandse Neogotiek uit de periode van katholieke revival in de tweede helft van de 19e eeuw.
