Asahi, Pentax Super-Takumar 28mm f/3.5 Analogue camera

Asahi Pentax Super-Takumar 28mm f/3.5 (M42) – Exceptional vintage wide-angle lens.

These lenses are exceptionally heavy compared to modern lenses, all-metal. This variant is the 2nd (1965-1966); we remain in the big-league with 7 elements, single-coated in 6 groups, a 58 mm filter thread, and it stops down to f/16 whereas the 1st stops at f/22. The filter mount is reduced to 49 mm. Weight is reduced from 260 to 208 g.

Legendary Pentax Asahi wide-angle lens in M42 mount, in magnificent condition, very little used. Clear optics, smooth mechanics.

Renowned for its exceptional sharpness, robust all-metal construction, and its superb color rendition typical of vintage lenses.
