Bronze Rococo-style table clock from Germany, dating to 1960–1970, by Mercedes Clocks (Gebr. Hauser), with a mechanical movement and several days’ power reserve, non-striking, with winding key, dimensions 19 × 13.5 × 8 cm, weight 540 g, in good used condition.

Mercedes Clocks – Rococo-style mechanical tabletop clock, from Germany, circa 1960-1970
Elegant German mechanical table clock signed Mercedes Clocks (Gebr. Hauser, Germany), crafted in a refined Rococo style inspired by Louis XV.
The gilded wrought metal case is richly decorated with volutes, shells and female mascarons. Its dial with Roman numerals, adorned with a gilded vegetal motif, is protected by a convex glass and animated by delicate, intricate hands original to the piece.
This clock is equipped with its original German mechanical movement, marked Mercedes-Clocks – Gebr. Hauser / Germany – No (0) Jewels – Unadjusted. The mechanism is complete and operates correctly.
The overall piece shows a fine antique patina with some wear and light oxidations in the recesses of the decoration, testament to its age and authenticity.
Condition:
