J.M. - Sculpture, Figaro journal - 46 cm - Spelter

This is an antique bronze-gilt (regule) table lamp in the shape of a street boy under a street lamp, resembling the style of "Le Siffleur" (the whistling boy) from the early 20th century.

This type of lamp is based on a very famous sculpture and is mainly associated with one specific original maker (Victor Szczeblewski), as well as a number of well-known artists who made similar variants.

Material: bronze-colored zinc alloy (see photo of scratch at the bottom plate).

Theme: A standing young worker or street boy with a cap and a loose-fitting tunic, who looks up at a fixture in the form of a street lamp.

Technical specifications: 220V - MAX 15W - E14 socket - cord length 1.4 m with a push button.
