Description from the seller

A distinctive and characterful specimen of Otodus megalodon, featuring a striking pathologically deformed crown that immediately distinguishes this tooth from regular Megalodon teeth.

The crown shows an unusual asymmetric shape and strong natural deformation, combined with beautiful gold, honey, and dark brown color tones. The clear vertical growth lines run across the enamel and emphasize the crown's remarkable structure. Along both cutting edges, the fine natural serrations are still beautifully present.

The bourrelet is also clearly visible and exhibits rich, dark gold-brown mineralization. The heavy, massive root has an authentic fossil character and forms an impressive contrast with the lighter crown.

What truly makes this tooth special is not only its size of 13.6 cm, but above all the natural pathological deformation. Such deviations occurred during the development of the tooth and make these specimens particularly interesting for collectors who are seeking unique and exceptional Megalodon fossils.
