A piece of Mercedes-Benz history. Official factory-drawn/genuine 300 SL. This is the official market-launch document for the model in 1954. The first units would not begin to be delivered to customers until 1955.
The Mercedes 300 SL "GullWing" is a 1950s automotive icon. It is considered the first supercar in history, notable for its revolutionary vertically opening doors, a technical necessity derived from its tubular chassis. Its inline six-cylinder engine with direct injection made it a reference in technology and performance of the era. Introduced in 1954, this competition-derived model is a symbol of innovation, luxury and timeless design.
Comes with a black wooden frame and acrylic glass. Very well wrapped and protected for a transport without incidents until you have it in your hands. Exterior dimensions are 63 x 93 cm and 3 cm in depth.
