Antique mahogany wood side table from France, dating to 1950–1960, with two stacked drawers, an open lower shelf, cabriole goat legs, and a Louis XV/French country style; in good condition with minor signs of wear.
Description from the seller
A classic style, wooden side table with goat legs, which can be used as a bedside table, telephone table or hall console table. Based on the design features, it evokes the world of the Louis XV style or the French Country / Provincial trend.
Main features:
Structure: It has two drawers below each other on top, decorated with round copper buttons. There is an additional open connecting shelf (so-called tray) at the bottom, which increases stability and storage space.
Legs: Elegant, S-shaped goat legs (cabriole legs) support the furniture, which give it a delicate, graceful appearance.
Decoration: The apron part under the drawers has wavy, scalloped carving, which is a typical trademark of French country furniture.
The table is in very good condition considering its age. Of course there are signs of use and minor scratches. We tried to take photos so that everything is visible.
We can post it carefully packaged, in an insured, registered package.
