NO RESERVE PRICE FOR THIS RARE SANSUI XR Q5
Beautiful and very rarely offered, this SANSUI XR Q5 with great specifications. It is for a fully automatic player and all factory functions work well. It features auto start, auto stop, auto lift and auto return at the end of the album, 33 and 45 rpm, repeat, etc.
The belt that controls the tonearm is replaced on August 21, 2026.
The SANSUI XR Q5 is acclaimed for its excellent specifications!
The cabinet and lid are in good condition, at most a few small signs of use. The dust cover is damage-free, even the hinges are free of breaks. The metal edge under the platter on the left side has been restored. The cabinet has a small scratch at the front right, which is not / hardly noticeable to the naked eye; you can only feel it if you run your hand over it. It is also hardly visible in the photos.
The straight tonearm has a removable headshell and is fitted with a new cartridge, equivalent to the Audio Technica AT3600L.
This is the original 100V Japanese version. A transformer is included for free.
The player also includes the original Sansui-signed single puck.
The newly developed, quiet synchronous rotor system, used in the XR-Q7 turntable, has proven to prevent the reaction force generated by the direct-drive motor from making the turntable housing vibrate.
This is achieved by allowing the quiet synchronous rotor to rotate in the opposite direction to the directly driven motor at any given moment, thereby canceling any torque fluctuations.
Other features of the Sansui XRQ7 include a quartz servo system for precise speed control, a fantastic vibration-free DOB tonearm with a vibration-free tonearm base, accurate computer-controlled fully automatic operation, and a solid platter that guarantees optimal playback quality.
