Description from the seller

Daniël Devadder presents Grace, a unique sculptural object that sits somewhere between functional design and collectible art.

Grace was a way to express feelings and emotions that defy single words, inspired by nature, whose complexity is hidden behind elegant and impeccable forms.

This is combined with the belief that form need not always follow function, but rather should follow emotion. They merge. This is strongly reflected, for example, in dance, ballet, and tango; the translation of emotions and feelings by transcending oneself in a form or movement.

Grace represents a contemporary exploration of balance, form, and emotional presence.
The object transcends the traditional classification of furniture and positions itself as a functional sculpture intended for both spatial dialogue and human interaction.

Through its sculptural silhouette and understated use of materials, Grace reflects a dedication to timeless design and cultural relevance.

The work has been formally recognized by Europe's most respected design institutions. It has been awarded the iF Design Award, Gold A’ Design Award, Silver International Design Award, and the European Product Design Award, securing its place in the canon of contemporary collectible design.

Unlike limited editions, this work exists as a single, irreplaceable, unique object.
There are no reproductions, editions, or variations, and none will be produced.
Its value is therefore determined not only by the quality of the design but also by its enduring scarcity.

Owning this piece means not only owning a truly unique design object but also owning a unique moment in contemporary design history.
