Magnificent blue-and-white Chinese plate with underglaze and red peony motif from the late Qing Dynasty.
The plate / dish has an open rim and a ring-shaped foot.
The central motif is a phoenix perched atop a large tree, surrounded by daylilies and artificial rocks.
