Description from the seller

A refined and imposing pair of ornamental obelisks (67 cm, 10.7 kg) crafted in Portuguese Pink Marble.
Spectacular, beautiful in form and appearance, they are characterized by a delicate powder-pink background color interrupted by natural veining and amber, gray and coppery streaks.

Each element is conceived according to the classical canons of the Grand Tour and is structured in two distinct blocks: the upper monolith in a slender truncated-pyramidal shape and the square plinth base, connected to one another by an elegant protruding moulded cornice.
The base rests on a solid stepped foot with triple moulding, which gives the whole piece excellent stability and vertical thrust.
The stone surface is fully mirror-polished, highlighting the marble’s natural transparency and chromatic richness.

From solar worship to the spiritual connection between Earth and sky, symbolizing stability, immortality, and architectural prestige, these obelisks, of substantial size at 67 cm, dramatically elevate the lot compared to more common desk versions, configuring it as a pair of truly monumental decorative elements.
The choice of such an elegantly veined stone block gives each piece an irreproducible chromatic identity—a high-profile Grand Tour, ready to impart a magnetic and solemn rigor to any elite setting.
