GENERAL:
Land Rover - Santana 109 - 1976. Produced under license by the Spanish company Metalúrgica de Santa Ana in Linares, Jaén, the Santana 109 of Series III is an icon of classic Iberian motors. Unlike its British counterparts, Santana models incorporated their own innovations highly valued by collectors, such as one-piece windshields in later versions, adapted electrical systems, and legendary structural ruggedness for rural work. This example has a history of only two previous owners; it is a national vehicle and offers the peculiarity of having 10 seats (9 of them properly homologated). Visit in Spain, in the province of La Coruña.
BODYWORK AND PAINT:
Original front grille. Rear 109 Especial logo with normal wear. New Land Rover Santana side skirts. 4 Deestone Extra Traction tires at about 90% wear and 1 spare tire by Firestone used.
MECHANICS:
Good condition silentblock kit. Leaf springs in good condition. 4 new oil-filled shocks PR2-PRO. Rear axle dropout straps new. Brake pump inspected, hydraulic system pipes partially replaced, new brake cylinders and brake shoes with about 80% life remaining. Electrical system fully checked, new high-power battery, lights, indicators and wiper system working perfectly. Engine recently painted and inspected with an investment of over €3,000 in repairs. Clutch in good condition, gearbox and reducers working perfectly. The vehicle starts perfectly both cold and warm; when starting cold it emits a little blue smoke for a few seconds which disappears once the engine is warm. Maintenance performed recently. The vehicle may show small oil leaks from the reservoir caps. Exhaust line with supports in good condition.
INTERIOR:
Original roof with small delaminations at the sides. Heater blower working perfectly. Slight wear on floor coverings near the gear levers. Front seats in synthetic leather new and rear seats in original leather of the vehicle with normal wear due to use and time. Lower panels of the doors new and upper part original of the vehicle with normal wear. Dash panel newly upholstered. Steering wheel and gear lever knobs original to the vehicle.
DOCUMENTATION:
Vehicle with ITV (vehicle inspection) valid. An invoice for recent maintenance is attached. There are no invoices for repairs or maintenance prior to this because it belonged to a private owner.
