There are associations that seem so natural that you almost believe they have always existed.
The Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 and Gulf belong to this category. Two automotive culture myths, two instantly recognizable visual signatures, two stories nourished by competition, performance, and a certain idea of mechanical freedom.
And yet, this precise meeting never officially existed.
With The Gulf That Never Was, SKE imagines the missing chapter: a 911 Carrera RS 2.7 that could have borne the Gulf blue and orange colors. Not as a historical reconstruction, but as a parallel archive, plausible at first glance and deliberately fictional upon closer look.
The technical drawing, the car views, the mechanical annotations, and the composition inspired by engineering documents reinforce this sense of a “found document.”

- FRAMING TIPS

Your artwork is shipped rolled and protected in a tube.

Upon receipt, remove it gently and lay it flat for 48 to 72 hours so it naturally regains its shape before framing.

ISO formats (A3, A2, A1…) are very easy to frame with standard frames available at hardware or decor stores.

Personally, I use Leroy Merlin aluminum frames: simple, elegant and affordable; they perfectly showcase the artworks.

SKE is a self-taught and versatile French artist who grew up in the 80s/90s culture, inspiring a large portion of his artistic works.

He continually explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with double meanings, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.

After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s market value has seen a notable rise. Winner of the first prize in the Urban Master competition (2023), then hailed as Discovery of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.
