Description: a beautiful biscuit dish, manufactured by Gebrüder Friedländer, founded in 1829 by Zadig Levin and Louis Saling Friedländer.

During the reign of Wilhelm I the company served as court jeweler to the Empress and Queen, the Crown Prince and Princess Luise of Prussia. In 1939, under the Aryanization (Arisierung) of Jewish property, Gebr. Friedländer was forced to transfer to the Prussian state and the company was renamed Deutsche Goldschmiedekunst-Werkstätten.
