This hand-knotted Buchara rug shows a classic geometric Göl design. The interior field is adorned with eight large, vivid red Göl motifs, arranged in two equal rows and connected by geometric intermediary fields.

Several richly patterned borders with diamonds, hook ornaments, and stylized tribal symbols harmoniously frame the interior field. Red, beige, brown and black define the warm and contrasting color palette and give the rug its characteristic Buchara appearance.

The wool pile on a cotton warp provides a pleasantly soft surface and robust construction. Due to its versatile format, the rug is ideal for living rooms and bedrooms, dining areas, or as a decorative focal point in the room.
