Description from the seller

This is a Canon 100mm external optical viewfinder, a dedicated accessory for Canon L-series screw-mount rangefinder cameras from the 1950s, designed for use with a 100mm telephoto lens. It features an all-metal, silver-gray body and a classic hot shoe mount at the bottom, allowing direct insertion into the rangefinder camera's hot shoe.

The viewfinder has a clear feet distance scale ring at the front, and the front of the body is marked with "Canon 100mm," while the rear is marked with a "Japan" country of origin mark. It's a classic early Canon optical accessory.

The actual product is in good condition; the metal casing retains its original vintage feel, with only minor wear and tear, and no serious dents or scratches. The internal optical lenses are clear, without large areas of mold or haze, and the optical image is normal. The focus ring rotates smoothly.

This is a dual-purpose accessory for retro rangefinder enthusiasts, suitable for both collectors and practical use. It's compatible with Canon L-series rangefinders and can also be used with Leica L39 screw-mount rangefinders with a 100mm telephoto lens.
