Art Deco walnut serpentine nightstands, two pieces, made in Italy, dating from the 1920s–1930s, featuring bookmatched flame walnut veneer, brass hardware, wood and marble surfaces, and a black and grey marble top, with dimensions 58 cm W x 40 cm D x 75 cm H.

Exceptional art deco walnut serpentine nightstands, showcasing masterful craftsmanship and dramatic materials throughout.
This piece features richly bookmatched flamed walnut veneer on the serpentine cabinet front, accented by original aged brass hardware with exquisite patina.
The furniture is decorated with elaborate hand-carved floral and foliate motifs, moulded apron and decorative turned legs.
From the top view, we can see the shaped rectangular top with softly curved corners and overhanging moulded edge. An exceptionally beautifully and figured black and grey shade marble top adds further sophistication and completes this commanding design.
The condition is very great for its age, despite of some minimal scratches of age and use, and natural wood cracks.
The patina is super splendid.
It was well-made with great craftsmanship.
It is a very refined and of excellent construction that gives these pieces of furniture a noble and affected appearance.
Presented of some moth holes (seen on photos)
The pull handle of one nightstand lacks of one small brass detail, (seen on photos), but hardly noticed.
