This hand-knotted Turkish Kazak runner features an expressive geometric medallion design. The light inner field is adorned with several large, differently designed medallions arranged in a continuous row. Angular contours, hook shapes and stylized plant motifs characterize the traditional styling.

Several decorative borders with small flowers, vines and geometric ornaments harmoniously frame the inner field. Cream, red, burgundy, brown, old rose and muted blue form a warm and varied color palette.

The wool pile on a cotton warp provides a pleasantly grippy surface and a robust construction. Due to its long and narrow format, the rug is ideally suited for hallways, corridors, entrance areas or narrow living spaces.
