Thorens - TD 115 MK II 2-Speed Belt-Drive Semi-Automatic Turntable

The Thorens TD 115 MK II turntable, from the famous German brand, is in excellent condition. It has been used under good conditions and carefully maintained; it works perfectly. The two belts were changed about 5 years ago and show no signs of wear; they can ensure many more years of operation. The photos clearly show the cosmetic condition of the turntable; there are tiny signs of wear, and the dust cover is in good condition despite a few micro-scratches, but after more than 40 years since its manufacture, the whole is still presentable.
The sound is pleasant thanks to the Audio-Technica AT 125 LC MM cartridge; the sound is clear and detailed, with bass and mids well represented and balanced, and the highs are exceptionally realistic with remarkable definition; the soundstage is amazing.
Conclusion: the accuracy and linear response are the major strengths of this cartridge.
