Splendid monumental wall mirror cabinet, a testament to the excellence of Italian cabinetmaking from the late 19th century. Made in bois de rose, the mirror cabinet was designed to fulfill an ornamental function as an entrance piece of furniture in a room of great prestige. At the same time, the piece lends itself to practical use: the front panel is richly carved with Renaissance motifs, turned columns and decorative elements, concealing a wide recess with a shelf, suitable for use as a bar cabinet, or as a space to store silverware, glassware, and table linens. Between the recess and the upper central mirror, there is a handy drawer. The furniture is characterized by a large central mirror and two smaller side mirrors in the lower compartment.
