De Denon DRS-610 is een hifi-cassettedeck dat begin jaren '90 werd geproduceerd. Het model valt direct op door zijn horizontale "lade-laadsysteem". In plaats van het traditionele verticale klepje, schuift er net als bij een cd-speler een lade naar buiten waarin de cassette plat wordt neergelegd

Volgens Denon bood dit mechanisme, in combinatie met een keramische stabilisator, betere isolatie tegen trillingen en een nauwkeurigere tape-uitlijning

Het vooruit- en terugspoelen gaat soepel, snel en geruisloos, het deck verkeert in zeer mooie staat.

De gemaakte opnames met een goede tape zijn van een hoge kwaliteit en nauwelijks te onderscheiden van de bron

De koppen zijn gereinigd en gedemagnetiseerd.

Enkele van de vele opties: Dolby B, C, MPX filter, automatische tape selectie, MPX filter en een regelbare bias.

Optisch is zeer mooie staat, met uitsluitend kleine sporen van gebruik.
