Vallauris - Vase (4) - Ceramic

A decorative collection of four vintage Vallauris ceramic vases and pots, France, mid-20th century. The group includes a large ovoid vase, two smaller baluster-shaped pots and a charming two-handled amphora. Each piece is individually handcrafted and decorated with expressive marbled and abstract glazes in warm ochre, terracotta, cream, olive green and turquoise tones. The largest vase is marked “Vallauris” on the base.
Good vintage condition with normal traces of age and use, including glaze crazing, surface wear, small scratches and occasional minor glaze losses. The largest black-rimmed vase has a visible hairline crack extending downward from the rim, as well as chips and glaze losses age-related crazing and natural irregularities from handcrafted production.
