Very decorative and imposing pair of two vintage table lamps in Maison Jansen style, presumably dating from the second half of the 20th century.
The lamps feature a pronounced botanical design. The stems are constructed from elegantly formed metal leaves that curl in different directions. In the center of each lamp is a large, richly worked flower, built up from several individual metal petals. This gives the lamps, from every viewing angle, a different, almost sculptural appearance.
The metal has a beautiful gold/brass-colored patina with greenish and dark brown nuances. The speckled and aged finish enhances the vintage character and gives the leaves and flowers a lot of depth. The lamps rest on sturdy, roundly twisted dark brown wooden bases.
