Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) centerpiece tray by WMF of Germany, made from silver-plated brass and dated 1886–1903, featuring two openwork handles, overall 27.7 cm long (tray 20 cm), 13.5 cm wide and 4 cm high, in fair condition with signs of wear and possibly minor parts missing.

Magnificent Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) centerpiece tray with handles, crafted by the renowned German manufacturer WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik). An essential collector's piece distinguished by its organic elegance and the refined craftsmanship typical of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
-Origin: Germany.
-Manufacturer: WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik).
-Marks: "WMFM" stamped on the underside of one of the handles (WMFM identifies the brass/base metal alloy used by the firm during this period).
-Period: 1886–1903.
-Style: Art Nouveau / Jugendstil.
-Material: Silver-plated brass.
-Technique: Repoussé, chasing, and casting with fine relief detailing.
-Ornamentation: Features the fluid, botanical design characteristic of Art Nouveau. It displays motifs of buds and stylized leaves against a subtly hammered/stippled background, a central oval medallion with sinuous lines, edges molded with geometric-organic motifs, and two elaborate openwork handles with curved lines.
