Oval metal shop advertising plaque from Italy, handmade in the 1920s, in original official condition with light age-related wear and spots, dimensions 46 cm high by 56.5 cm wide by 4 cm deep and weighing 1 kg, in crema, multicolour and brown tones, not autographed.
Description from the seller
Splendid and authentic example of an oval-shaped vintage shop advertising sign. Made of shaped metal with a raised border, it features a refined vintage hand-painted inscription reading "Giuseppe Aglio Negoziante", enhanced at the center by a decorative knot motif, a twisted graphic. The back preserves the original metal reinforcement bar and mounting eyelets for wall display or for exterior positioning of the business.
Conditions and State of Preservation:
The sign is in original, unrestored condition, with an authentic, time-worn patina of great charm.
It shows widespread and physiological signs of wear, superficial scratches, and paint loss (era-typical fading/peeling) on both the front and back.
Solid metal construction, free of serious deformations.
(All details of the preservation state are clearly visible in the attached photographic gallery).
