Beautiful antique Victorian tea kettle on a chafing stand (spirit lamp) from the second half of the 19th century. The kettle is designed in an elegant, pumpkin-shaped model with fluted vertical ribs. The tea kettle sits on a richly worked three-legged stand with openwork floral motif and graceful feet.
Includes the original tilting mechanism with chain and securing pin, allowing the kettle to be safely tilted for pouring without removing it from the stand. The underside bears authentic silver marks (pseudo-hallmarks) and an old inventory number. A very decorative and complete piece of silverware in good condition.
- Condition: In good antique condition with light, normal signs of aging (see photos).
