Description from the seller
Märklin H0 - 390086 - Steam locomotive with tender (1) - BR 01 "Merry Christmas" Full sound and smoke - DB
Tested and working.
Christmas couldn’t be more beautiful.
A great Christmas gift idea: in the 1950s and 1960s, steam locomotives that greeted their passengers at the stations on Christmas were usually decorated with the corresponding inscriptions. Now these Christmas greetings are also available as an elegant steam locomotive model in a transparent acrylic display case. An elegant highlight is the Class 01 steam locomotive with its Christmas wishes and the illuminated Christmas tree on the protective beam. As a special feature, the locomotive whistles "Süßer die Glocken nie klingen" and "Ihr Kinderlein kommet".
Prototype: Steam locomotive of the Class 01 of the Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB). With coal tender 2'2'T34, old-style boiler and Witte smoke deflectors.
Model in miniature: The miniature model features a digital decoder (mfx) and numerous sound functions. High-efficiency drive with a flywheel in the boiler. 3 driven axles. Non-slip tires. Locomotive and tender largely metal. Suitable for smoke generator 7226. Three-light front illumination and smoke generator with direction-dependent switching in conventional operation, controllable digitally. The flickering cabin light can be controlled digitally. Illumination with warm-white, maintenance-free LEDs. The special lighting function is a Christmas tree with LED lighting, digitally switchable. As a special sound function, the locomotive whistles "Süßer die Glocken nie klingen" and "Ihr Kinderlein kommet". Speed-synchronised fixed coupling between locomotive and tender. In the tender there is a speed-synchronised coupling with an NEM shaft. Includes piston rod guard and brake hoses. Minimum permissible turning radius: 360 mm. Length over buffers: 27.5 cm.
The model is presented with a transparent acrylic display case. At the base there is a metal plaque with the inscription "Merry Christmas".
