Description:
Round tray made of rosewood with a plant motif composed of several pieces of wood that have been hand-placed into the tray. This technique is called “Intarsia,” and this tray was made by a company named “Intarsia” from Ringe in Denmark, which specialized in making objects using this wood inlay technique. The tray is marked on the back with the Intarsia Ringe sticker. There is also a small original round hole for hanging the tray on the wall (see photos). At the bottom are four green pieces of felt to prevent scratches.
