Splendid pair of vintage nightstands dating from the 1980s, crafted in traditional classic style. Perfect for adding warmth and retro charm to a bedroom, a second home, a B&B, or for enthusiasts of creative restoration projects and mid-century modernism.

CHARACTERISTICS AND MATERIALS:

Exterior Finish: The furniture features an elegant walnut veneer with warm, vertically grained wood, finished with the classic high-gloss shine typical of the era.

Premium Details: The pin-style legs, finely turned and fluted at the upper part, are made of solid wood stained to match. The front is adorned with a dark, sculpted Greek-key motif on the door and an original artistic knob in worked gold-toned metal.

Interior: The interiors are lined with light wood (Tanganyika/Poplar), clean, sound, and ready for immediate use.

Top Surfaces: Both nightstands are topped with a thick, beautiful slab of natural veined marble in beige/ochre tones. The marbles are, as was traditional of the era, simply resting on the frame (not glued), which greatly facilitates cleaning, maintenance, and safe movement.

CONDITION AND DETAILS:

The furniture is structurally solid and in generally good cosmetic condition. As clearly visible in the attached photos, one corner of the marble slab on one of the two nightstands sustained a break in the past; the original piece was carefully and securely glued and repositioned. The repair is visible up close but does not in any way affect the strength or usability of the top.
