Towel (3) - 140 cm - 70 cm

Three antique towels, fabrics woven on a domestic loom and completely handmade using the techniques of the time. The thread used should be hemp, perhaps with the addition of flax or cotton. The texture of the fabric is sturdy and substantial, yet soft and enveloping. The color is ivory white.
They are different from one another but all three embody the characteristics of the era in which they were made. One of the towels features a beautiful floral motif and the initials L B.
They are classic pieces that improve with every wash.
New, never used. They have no stains or tears.
They show here and there the little knots typical of the fabric. The only imperfection to note is a kind of mending, not very noticeable, on the towel with the colored flowers. See photos.
The measurements are indicated in the photos and include the fringes.
