Russian commemorative tobacco box, made of 84 zolotniki silver (approximately 875/1000), from the era of the Russian Empire.
The piece features a hinged lid. On the inside of the lid there is an authentic 1 ruble silver coin of Tsar Nicholas II, dated 1897, with the emperor’s portrait on the obverse and the imperial double-headed eagle on the reverse.
