A truly splendid and homogeneous lot of 12 top-class cassette tapes from the legendary Maxell brand, originating from the golden era of analog hi-fi. These tapes are in exceptionally beautiful, nearly perfect condition (Near Mint) and are ideal for the discerning audiophile or collector.
All inlays (J-cards) are 100% blank, undescribed and fully intact. The original A/B sticker sheets are unused and included. Additionally, the recording tabs on the top edge of all 12 cassettes are completely undamaged.
This lot consists of:
* 8x Maxell MX 90 (Type IV - Metal Position, generation 1982–1984): The iconic and highly sought-after silver edition. Famous for its extremely high dynamic range, maximum output (MOL) and warm analog sound.
* 4x Maxell XLII-S 90 (Type II - High/Chrome Position, generation 1986–1987): The absolute top model chrome tape from Maxell, equipped with the heavy, vibration-damping "High Resonanceproof" composite mechanism.
