Description from the seller
A complete set of four identical antique candlesticks of this size is a rare find. While most examples from this period have survived as loose pairs, this harmonious quartet offers a unique opportunity to add immediate grandeur and symmetry to your interior.
This princely set was manufactured around 1900 by the renowned German maker Wilhelm Wolff in the famous silver-and-gold town of Pforzheim. The design is a beautiful reinterpretation of the sumptuous French Louis XV style (Neo-Rococo). The flowing, spiraling bands on the base, the baluster stem, and the candle sockets capture light in a dynamic way, creating a stunning, warm reflection.
Thanks to the generous height of 28 cm and the weighted feet, these candlesticks stand stately and stable. Freshly polished and ready to adorn an exclusive dining table, a mantel, or a chic sideboard.

Condition
The set is in a beautiful, authentic antique state and has, after a recent thorough cleaning, regained a brilliant, mirror-like shine. As an honest note, this quartet bears the inevitable, characteristic signs of age:
One candlestick has a few light, non-structural dents on one side of the lower part of the stem (see detail photo). When this side is turned to the back, it is not noticeable in the overall view.
The set shows minimal, normal signs of aging that accentuate its historical character. A wonderful, ready-to-use ensemble with a lived-in soul.
