Technical & Hydraulics
The chassis is thoroughly de-rusted, where needed expertly restored (including new front outriggers and repair to the front of the chassis due to old winch-tow damage) and fully finished in chassis paint. The braking system has been renewed throughout. The 2.25L petrol engine and the gearbox are equipped with new gaskets, seals, a clutch plate and pressure plate.
The hydraulic pump, connections and hoses of the Simon L25 cherry picker are all-new and the system functions properly (due to age without hose rupture valves). The windscreen wiper motors have been refurbished. Note: the heater and windscreen wipers still need to be connected electrically and after standing the car locally leaks a drop of oil.
Interior
The interior is neat and functionally laid out. There are new aftermarket seats installed, preserving the original steering wheel, gauges and heater. To maintain the rugged working character, the cabin is finished bare, without headlining or door trim.
