Scandyna Micropod SE passive design speakers in black finish (set of 2), technically in 100% working order and visually in good condition. A globally recognized design classic, originally designed under the banner of the legendary British loudspeaker house Bowers & Wilkins (B&W) by designer Simon Ghahary.
The Micropod is known for its striking organic, rounded styling. This round ABS housing is not only an aesthetic statement, but serves an important acoustic purpose: it eliminates internal standing waves and cabinet resonances, resulting in a remarkably open, transparent and coloration-free sound image.
Despite the compact size, these passive monitors are equipped with serious hi-fi components: a woven Kevlar cone for mid and bass, paired with a high-quality soft-dome tweeter for a detailed, smooth high-end response. They are easy to drive by any standard stereo amplifier, receiver or compact mini-system.
The set has been extensively tested, the surround edges and tweeters are in excellent condition and deliver a surprisingly mature and spacious stereo image.
