Reggiani Illuminazione table lamp, spherical design - 1970s

Reggiani established his eponymous lighting factory in Brianza, Italy, a region known for its industrial tradition. In his designs, Reggiani mainly used chrome, but also opal glass and teak, to create Space Age designs, such as Sputnik-style chandeliers, spherical table lamps, and floor lamps with trumpet-shaped diffusers. In the seventies, Reggiani developed the first range of low-voltage halogen lamps in Europe.
