Philips - CD472 CD player

Philips CD472 from 1987/1988, finished in black and supplied with a matching infrared remote control. This is one of the Philips models from the period when Philips still fully developed the CD technology themselves.

The CD472 features a 16-bit DAC with 4x oversampling and Philips CDM-2/CDM-4/11 mechanism, depending on the version. The player has a frequency range of 2 Hz to 20 kHz, a dynamic range of more than 96 dB and a signal-to-noise ratio of more than 100 dB. It also includes a programmable function, repeat, track search and a 6.3 mm headphone output.
