Side table - Mid-Century Modern - Beech

Today at the auction I have the pleasure of presenting to you

An original auxiliary table in the Mid-Century Modern style (often also called the Rockabilly or Atomic Age style), most likely dating from the 1950s or 1960s.

In Poland and Central Europe, this type of small three-legged tables is commonly referred to as “patyczaki” or “nerki” (due to the distinctive, rounded, organic shape of the top).

The piece is distinguished by several classic craftsmanship details from that era: a laminated top in a mint-green shade, decorated with a geometric, subtle pattern reminiscent of daisies or snowflakes

.A gold-black band (a strip of plastic or metal) elegantly finishing the edge of the top

.Three slender, turned legs made of dark wood, mounted at an angle, which gives the furniture visual lightness and stability
