Description from the seller
Beautiful French antique table lamp by Müller Frères Lunéville, featuring a signed glass goblet, which is in pristine condition.
The goblet-shaped shade is executed in characteristic marbled glass with a warm orange color that shifts into deep blue tones at the underside. The exceptional color gradient is particularly striking when the lamp is lit. The goblet is in pristine condition.
The glass shade bears the etched/cameo signature, Muller Frères Lunéville, enabling attribution of the glass to the famous French glass atelier Müller Frères. The workshop in Lunéville was active from the end of the 19th century and became renowned for its Art Nouveau glass and later Art Deco designs.
The glass goblet is mounted on an elegant fixture with a curved frame.
The table lamp is equipped with new antique-look braided fabric-covered power cord, still with the original on/off switch.
The lamp is carefully packaged and insured for shipment.
