Description from the seller
NO RESERVE PRICE, SO THE CAR WILL THEREFORE BE SOLD!
Only very rarely do you come across jewels like this, such as this beautiful Renault Monaquatre from 1930 in this lovely blue color.
Year of manufacture 1930, has spent years driving around in Belgium, and came to the Netherlands in 2025, so the car is 96 years old (!!). A wonderful car. Gorgeous upholstery and also the headliner. The car is in largely original condition, always in use, and with a beautiful patina. Very solid, hardly any rust. Due to its advanced age, the car is not only APK-free but also exempt from road tax. In 2024 the car was officially valued at 10,000 euros; see the report photos.
Documents:
The car has Dutch registration; if desired, (for an additional 50 euros) the car can be supplied with an EU export document so that a foreign buyer can easily register the Monaquatre.
Bodywork:
The Renault shows minor signs of use and looks very neat, the underside is neat as well. See the photos.
The chassis is in good condition; it is suspected the car was restored years ago, given the neat state of, for example, the sheet metal, the underside of the doors, and so on.
Technical:
There are various new parts fitted; the starter motor seems to be in less good condition as it turns the engine slowly. With some persuasion the engine can be started, but this should be easier. The engine itself runs smoothly.
Interior:
The interior is neat and shows hardly any signs of use; see the photos. The seat upholstery is remarkable. The door panels are in neat condition, as are the floor coverings and the headliner.
Transport:
The car is located in Hengevelde, Netherlands and can of course be picked up there. The car can be delivered within the Netherlands at an additional cost (excluding the Wadden Islands).
The seller can arrange fairly cheap delivery of the car to the entire EU by a professional carrier.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
