The Nikon D3 was Nikon's first full-frame DSLR, and the camera that changed what was possible in low light: its 12.1MP FX sensor shoots cleanly at ISO 6400 and extends to 25600. It was built for sport and press work, with 9 frames per second, a 51-point autofocus system, a weather-sealed magnesium body, twin CF card slots and a shutter tested to 300,000 cycles. With just 13,424 actuations, this body has used a very small part of that.
