A rare and sought-after hand-painted earthenware jug / creamer, designed by the world-famous Art Deco designer Clarice Cliff for Newport Pottery (Burslem, England).
The piece is executed in the iconic landscape pattern 'Autumn' (also known as Balloon Trees), characterized by stylized trees with spheres in bold black and orange, against a green and yellow hilly landscape.
