Large glass and 95% tin ewer – Louis XV style

Elegant French ewer in transparent glass, adorned with a substantial mount in 95% tin. Rich Rocaille decoration of acanthus leaves and scrolls, with a sculpted handle, an articulated lid and four feet.

Created in the first half of the 20th century, in the Louis XV style with a vegetal Art Nouveau influence.

Overall good condition: glass intact, patina, signs of use at the spout and small irregularities consistent with age.
