Antique coffee grinder in forged iron, dating to circa 1800, with a sablier/diabolo form and a brown finish, in poor condition.

Rare and authentic coffee mill of the “hourglass” type (or diabolo) in wrought iron and iron sheet, dating from around 1800
This model, inspired by the famous French forms of the Louis XIV / Louis XV era, features exceptional Scandinavian origin.
The original crank is distinctly marked and stamped with the name of the famous Swedish forge "JONSBERG" (Jonsbergs bruk), which makes it a particularly rare and highly documented piece for enthusiasts of European folk art.
Characteristics and details:
Model: Hourglass/diabolo type with clamp fixing (original fixing claw).
Material: Wrought iron of the period with a superb old patina from excavation/attic.
