Renault Oils metal oil tin, a half gallon size, of United Kingdom origin, multicoloured and measuring 25.5 cm high, 14 cm wide and 8.2 cm deep, in reasonable condition with heavy use and possibly missing small parts, still with its original cap.

Situated at Seagrave Road, in West Brompton, London SW6
(this area was a hotspot for the early automotive industry. They were all there—the absolute top: Renault, Rolls-Royce and Rover,
From 1908 the French Renault established itself at Seagrave Road. This complex then served as the official British headquarters, the import location and the central assembly and repair workshop of the brand.
Renault remained active here until the mid-1930s, after which they moved to a larger factory in Acton and sold the Seagrave Road building to the Rover Car Company.
This can is thus presumably from the twenties of the previous century.
